Miquel Àngel works as the project manager for the STI and Skin NTD Unit of the Fight AIDS and Infectious Diseases Foundation/ Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital. He formerly held a similar position at the Citizen Science Research group EMBIMOS of the Department of Physical and Technological Oceanography of the Institute of Marine Sciences of CSIC.

Miquel Àngel holds a BA in Biology (University of Barcelona), a MSc in Environmental Engineering (Sarrià Chemical Institute) and a MA in History of Science and Technology (UAB-UB). He has expertise in administration, project management, fundraising, talent recruitment, team management, labor relations, institutional strategies and corporate visibility.
