Gerard Carot-Sans is a medical writer with extensive experience writing and editing scientific manuscripts of many medical areas. Gerard is currently affiliated with DS3 Research Group but regularly collaborates as a freelance medical writer with outstanding research teams like the STI and Skin NTD Unit of the Fight AIDS and Infectious Diseases Foundation/ Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital.

Gerard has a BSc in Pharmacy, a BSc in Biochemistry, and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Barcelona. He has completed various training programs in medical writing, statistics, and clinical study design, including but not limited to the foundation and advanced certificates of the European Medical Writers Association.
