Clara Suñer

Clara Suñer is a post-doctoral research scientist of the STI and Skin NTD Unit of the Fight AIDS and Infectious Diseases Foundation/ Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital. Having a molecular biology background, she has been conducting research studies on risk factors related to COVID-19 infection and mortality, and is currently giving support to clinical studies on new COVID-treatments.

Clara has relevant research experience on fundamental molecular biology and data analysis, and is deeply interested in translating the knowledge generated by its research into more efficient public health strategies for Neglected Tropical Diseases management.

Clara has a BA in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona, a MSc in Biomedical Research from the Pompeu Fabra University and a PhD in Biomedicine the University of Barcelona obtained at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona).
